We love this stylish yet educational ‘Cocktail Chart of Film & Literature’ print available from Pop Chart Lab. The print features a range of nearly 50 fabulous drinks taken from film and literature and includes everything from Brian Flanagen’s ‘Redeye’ from the film Cocktail to the Gin Rickey from the Great Gatsby.

Colour becomes music

The ‘Colour Play’ is a design based on a record player developed by students at NYU which arranges colourful plastic wedges of varying widths to compose a sound on loop. With each colour representing a particular pitch, and the width of each wedge determining the rythm, the aim is to “experience a voluntary feeling of synethesia – hear a pitch by seeing colour”. Well, honestly, we just think it would make for a really fun party feature. Read more here.
